Abluum’s monthly Open Mic Night series incorporating music and literature has launched, thanks to San Francisco Roasting Co. Coffeehouse and generous donations from the community as well as private family foundations.
Our visual arts programs are currently in the development phase. We have program plans for experiences and events conceptualized by the Art It Out team of art therapists, and look forward to launching that program next.
We also have a concept developed for a theatre/performing arts program which incorporates masks and puppetry arts.
Abluum’s volunteer team of visual artists, filmmakers, thespians, writers, and musicians have wonderful ideas for events and programs that will really make a difference in so many people’s lives, but we need funding to make it all happen.
Together we can “travel upstream” to create supportive communities of care generating positive net benefits to society. If you are interested in helping us to develop a program, provide a venue, or contribute to our funding, we would like to hear from you!
Please consider making an investment in our mission to support Metro Atlanta’s mental health and wellness and improve long-term rates of recovery within our community. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity supported entirely by donations. Support mental health and wellness by helping to build a thriving community that cares.
